In February 2006, the saxophone classes of Utrecht and Enschede conservatoriums made an exciting trip to the Paris factory of Henri Selmer. We were guided by Selmer Netherland's representative, Harm Roestenberg, who also lead our convoy of 3 cars south to the great heart of the saxophone kingdom. Our teacher along with a fellow student drove the remaining cars, and we reached Paris without (too much) catastrophy. (This is of course excluding the fact that we lost the car we were following- a number of times- and reached the absolute bottom of the car (that I was in!)'s reserve fuel tanks (yes, both). In the middle of rush-hour Paris!).

Nevertheless, we made it there safely (thankyou BMW), and early the next morning were greeted for our tour. I have posted a few pics of our trip below- naturally, there are none from within the factory- (absolutely-Willy -Wonker-oompah-loompah-turn-into-great-giant-blueberry-type secret-kinda-place)- and I also miss pics of the fantastic lunch that Selmer generously hosted us to...
